Barb Sanchez is an educator with over thirty years of experience in the public school system. Her primary goal in creating Barb’s Book Buddies is to connect independent children’s book authors with readers (aka Book Buddies!) Barb combines children’s book readings and engaging activities to bring books to life! She invites authors to join her, creating interactive experiences for the whole family.  

Barb believes that books not only create an opportunity to look at ourselves, but allow us to reflect, empathize and appreciate other people and their stories. There is no denying the benefits of literacy, the joy of lifelong reading and the healing power of meaningful stories.
